Extend your Vision with A Tele Vue Barlow Lens
Tele Vue Barlows have been beautifully designed to carry out their three main functions:
- Amplify power ( a 2x barlow will double the magnification of your eyepiece)
- Slow the telescopes f number thereby improving the eyepiece sharpness
- Allow the designer to compensate for eyepiece aberrations
Tele Vue barlows use multi coated high index glasses for:
- optimum aberration correction
- exceptional contrast with virtually no light loss
1¼" Barlows are available
as 2 times or 3 times magnification. Choose either or both based on your eyepiece collection.
Features include parfocalization, 1¼" filter threads, captive lock screws that
won't fall out and full multicoatings.
2" Big Barlow is ideal for doubling the magnification
of your 2" Tele Vue eyepieces! With an adaptor to use it with 1¼" eyepieces
as well, it is ideal for Newtonian telescope owners. It is parfocal with both 2" and
1¼" eyepieces and features threads for 48mm filters, captive lock screw and full multicoatings.
To enjoy Tele Vue's big barlow with some of the Panoptic eyepieces, it is necessary to
use the Panoptic-Barlow Interface
